Southwest Trip May 2015

During our trip in May, out to the Southwest, we met several new friends in the Pueblos of San Felipe, Zuni and Hopi. We also delivered feathers to many old acquaintances. I have attached a couple pictures of recipients of the feathers that we delivered to in the Hopi village of Moencopi.

The first picture is of Dan Kelhoyouma and his son Tyler. They were very appreciative of the Macaw and Wild Turkey feathers that we brought. Tyler also was fond of the Gray Fox pelt.

The second picture is of Linette Lomatewama and her grandmother. They actually live in the village of Lower Moencopi. Linette had requested some Macaw Tail feathers and was very pleased with these beautiful Blue/Gold Macaw tails. Her Grandmother was personally attracted to a Gray Fox pelt that I had brought along for Linette’s son.
